KBC Ireland is in no rush to sell more of its soured mortgage loan book when it completes the existing disposal, its chief executive Wim Verbraeken has said.

A body to be set up in the wake of the €1bn tracker mortgage scandal and a decade after the financial crash has asked for the public’s submissions on the culture of banks.

KBC Ireland made a loss of €864m last year as it ramped up loan impairments over the fourth quarter.
