The long-awaited Gavin James gig is finally here, well judging by social media feeds over the past few weeks, this has been everyone's go-to summer gig.

Is Gavin James inevitably bound for global stardom? For last night’s ecstatic young Live At The Marquee fans, he’s clearly already there. When every single person in this capacity, high-profile venue canonises his quest, it does seem like you’re watching an unstoppable train. One thing is for sure, you’d have to go a long way to hear a sweeter voice.

Taking advice from Ed Sheeran, who once said “If you ignore Gavin James you’re missing out on a lot”, I made my way to Electric Picnic’s Rankin Wood Tent for the slightly earlier time of 7pm.
