Ed Sheeran announces Croker support acts

Ed Sheeran has announced his support acts for Croke Park and it’s good news for Irish music.

Drumroll please …. Bell X1 and Gavin James!

Kildare band Bell X1 are set to play both nights and while Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James will join them on July 24.

Bell X1 have been working on their new seventh studio album, the follow-up their hit album Chop Chop.

While Gavin James, who recently signed to Capitol Records in America and Sony in Europe, is currently writing and recording his debut studio album.

British singer Jamie Lawson will also support Ed over the two night stretch.

Jamie is the first signing to Ed Sheeran’s recently launched Gingerbread label and is currently on tour supporting Ed in Australia and New Zealand.

Tickets for both gigs sold out in record time, guaranteeing it to be a gig for the history books.
