WILLIAM Haggas is looking forward to seeing South Easter return to the scene of his finest hour to contest Thursday’s Betfair Huxley Stakes at Chester this afternoon.

William Haggas is likely to step Penitent and South Easter up in class after giving the Newmarket trainer a big across-the-card double on Saturday.

South Easter has been supplemented for the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday after missing the Investec Derby.

The Investec Derby field has been reduced to 12 as William Haggas’ South Easter will miss the race.
