OWEN MC KENNA, the son of a greyhound racing living legend, proved himself a chip off the old block by sending out Boherduff Light to win the Cashmans Bookmakers Irish Laurels in front of a record crowd of just under 3,000 at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

THE seasons are certainly changing as far as greyhounds are concerned. In years gone by, tracks would be winding down and all major competitions would be completed at this stage of the year. Indeed times have changed.
