A group of politicians and public representatives is being asked to promote awareness of men’s cancer issues.

The Irish Cancer Society is briefing the delegation to co-incide with Men's Cancer Action Week.

Elaine Glynn, health promotion officer with the society, says early detection and prevention of cancer is absolutely essential.
