Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was shot in Mayo.

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 71-year-old Thomas Biggins at his Co Mayo home.

Gardaí investigating the shooting dead of a traveler on a farm in Co Mayo yesterday have released a man they were questioning without charge.
