Enda Kenny has admitted he “should have been told” about a letter former Garda commissioner Martin Callinan sent to the Department of Justice warning about the Garda bugging scandal.

Trials and convictions of suspected murderers, rapists, terrorists, and other serious criminals are in jeopardy as the fallout from the Garda bugging scandal becomes clearer.

The Garda bugging scandal represents such a threat to State security Enda Kenny was forced to take “personal command” of the situation, Finance Minister Michael Noonan revealed.
