Tourism Ireland has launched a €12m, multi-media autumn campaign to boost late-season travel to Ireland from around the world.

The Menu is in the full throes of festival fever and first port of call is the Galway International Oyster Festival (Sept 25-27).

THIS weekend’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations are set to give a €60 million shot-in-the arm for traders throughout the country.

Over seven million people are expected to attend 600 festivals and cultural events throughout Ireland during the year.
