LEADING festivals in Kerry could be hit by reductions in grants from Fáilte Ireland and local business interests may be expected to make up the shortfall.

CHINESE poet Zhang Ye has been dropped from the programme for this year’s Féile na Bealtaine (Festival of May) in Dingle, Co Kerry, due to the SARS scare.
