Some of the hundreds of troubled children who called Childline on Christmas Day just wanted to say thanks to the volunteers for being there for them.

FOUR HUNDRED children called Childline on Christmas Day. The calls received indicate that a significant number of children are spending a lot of time around Christmas on their own.
