Cork racing ace Lucca Allen is on the cusp of outright victory in the F4 SEA Championship with Finland’s Elias Seppanen standing between the Shanagarry driver and his first FIA title.

Irish motorsport is in the middle of its award season and sandwiched between last week’s Dunlop presentation and tomorrow night’s Valvoline Irish Forest Championship ceremony were the interviews for the prestigious Billy Coleman award.

DUNLOP National Rally champion, Tim McNulty will receive the Vard Memorial Trophy at the National Rally Championship awards ceremony at the Clayton Hotel, Galway tomorrow night.

The top two awards in Irish motorsport were announced this afternoon at the Champions of Irish Motorsport Awards at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport Hotel.
