The Dalata Hotel Group is expected to post a 7% year-on-year increase in first half revenues — to €173m — when it publishes figures for the six months to the end of June next week.

Shares in Dalata Hotel Group have risen almost 8% as it reports an 80% rise in half-year, pre-tax profits of almost €33m.

The Dalata Hotel Group has reached agreement to buy the Tara Towers Hotel, in Dublin, for nearly €13.2m in cash.
