A post mortem has revealed that a “severe pulmonary haemorrhage” was to blame for the sudden death of Many Clouds at Cheltenham on Saturday, according to British Horseracing Authority (BHA) officials.

New British Horseracing Authority anti-doping rules, which include a zero-tolerance approach to anabolic steroids, will come into force from Monday.
