A promising young student stabbed to death by a jealous love rival was remarkably similar in so many ways to his killer, his funeral Mass heard today.

Hundreds of people have turned out in Bray, Co Wicklow, to pay their last respects to the 22-year-old student who was stabbed to death at his home in the town last weekend.

Gardaí have reportedly established that the knife used to kill Sebastian Creane in Bray at the weekend was bought by Shane Clancy just an hour before the stabbing.
