Irish model and TV personality Yvonne Connolly has tied the knot with her partner John Conroy in an intimate ceremony in New York.
The couple, who have been together for 14 years, shared the news on social media at the weekend that they had eloped in New York, surrounded by their nine children.
Connollyâs children Jack, Missy and Ali, whom she shares with Ronan Keating, were present at the celebration, along with her now-husbandâs children, which she said âmade the dayâ.
âI married the love of my life today in New York City enveloped by our 9 children. Tears of joy and happiness have been shed and our true love celebrated,â Connolly posted underneath a photo of her and her now-husband.
â14 years together and I love you more and more everyday, John Conroy. You are the most beautiful, kind, funny, intelligent, talented man and I am blessed to now call you my husband. Hereâs to Forever my Darling. XxâÂ
In a second post, she shared more details about their special day, including her dress and jewellery details.
Connollyâs dress, which she said she felt a million dollars in, was from RoÌisiÌn Linnane and her earrings were from Emporium Kalu. Her husbandâs suit was from Louis Copeland and Sons.
Their wedding planner was her daughter, Missy Keating, who she said organised âthe perfect weddingâ, and their photographer on the day was Sabrina Rose.
Commenting on the gridlock traffic they experienced en route to Central Park, Connolly said: âWe had to get out of the car and run to the subway to make the ceremony in Central Park. It couldnât have been more NY!!âÂ
Rosanna Davidson was among those to send best wishes to the newlywed couple on social media.
âOh congratulations to you both and wishing you a lifetime of health, happiness, fun and adventures together,â Davidson wrote.
âHuge congratulations xx,â Pippa OâConnor Ormond commented, along with Robbie Keane, Laura Whitmore and Suzanna Jackson OâConnor, who also congratulated the newlyweds.
