The actress is renowned for portraying legendary pub landlady Liz McDonald on the beloved ITV soap for three decades.
The star departed the cobbles in 2019, leaving viewers heartbroken, but she reappeared on our screens in 2020 when she took part in
Callard is now preparing for her major television return, joining the residents of Carrigstown on the set.
Beverley will portray Lily, Gwen's estranged mother. Gwen, portrayed by Emily Lamey, has become a viewer favourite since she arrived in Carrigstown in 2023, but little has been revealed about her family background.
