So, what do we know Dr Clare Kambamettu?
Kambamettu is a clinical psychologist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History, a Higher Diploma from NUI Galway, and a Master's in Science in Mental Health.
Specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), she has a background in mental health services, having worked in the UK within the NHS before returning to Ireland.
In the last 15 years, she has worked across the gamut of mental health services and has specialist clinical experience in Child and Adolescent, Adult and Forensic Mental Health service provision.

In 2020, Clare was announced as the newest presenter of RTÉ’s Eco Eye, Ireland’s longest-running environmental series.
Environmentalist Duncan Stewart fronted the show, assisted by Dr Kambamettu, as well as ecologist Anja Murray and immunologist Dr Lara Duggan.
The programme, which focused on climate change, biodiversity, natural capital and the circular economy, came to an end in 2023 when the final episode was broadcast, after 21 seasons.

Kambamettu competed and won the coveted Rose of Tralee crown in 2010, competing in the contest as the London Rose.
Since then, she has remained involved with the festival, frequently taking part in local and regional judging events.
Last year, she returned to the festival as a judge, fifteen years after representing London on the Tralee stage.

She was part of the judging panel, alongside presenter Nuala Carey, fashion designer Don O’Neill, and Aisling Murphy of Murphy’s New Homes, who crowned Laois Rose Katelyn Cummins the winner.
Just days before he announced he was stepping down from the Late Late Show, Tubridy was joined by Kambamettu as a guest on his RTÉ Radio One programme.
A picture of the pair in the studio together was posted with the caption: “How real is manifesting and is there any real psychological science behind it? Clinical Psychologist Dr Clare Kambamettu talks to Ryan.”Â

They went on to make their first public appearance as a couple at the Irish Post Awards in London in 2023, and returned together in 2024.
The engagement Speculation was rife that an engagement announcement was on the cards after Tubridy was spotted picking out a diamond ring from a jewellers based in Clifden, Galway.
In a now-deleted post, the jewellers announced that he had come to them 'discreetly' to find a ring for 'a very special lady.'
Soon after rumours started to swirl, Tubridy confirmed that he had asked Kambamettu to marry him.
“It's a very exciting time to be alive, I'm a very, very lucky man,” he said on air.
“I think it's one of those beautiful moments where the world feels lighter and there's a beautiful new adventure ahead.”Â
The pair’s wedding was kept low-key and intimate, and they have yet to post about their special day.
