Jordan North is guided to safety by coastguard staff (RNLI/PA)

Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Jordan North has been pulled from London’s River Thames by lifeguards after he got into difficulty while attempting to rescue a dog.

The 34-year-old Capital FM presenter was out for a run when he entered the water from a pontoon near Hammersmith Bridge to help a labrador which was struggling to get back on dry land, before eventually “starting to get panicky” himself.
