'We are so in love:' Louise Cooney announces birth of first child
Louise Cooney has given birth to a baby boy.
Limerick influencer Louise Cooney says her world has been changed forever as she announces the birth of her first baby.
The businesswoman first shared that she was pregnant in May by posting a picture of her and her boyfriend Mark holding scan photos.
After sharing bump updates along the way with her 233k Instagram followers, the podcast host revealed on Thursday that their bundle of joy had arrived.
“You have changed our world forever… we are so in love,” she wrote alongside a series of pictures of baby Jude.
Friends and fellow influencers were quick to congratulate the pair. "A boy! So happy for you Louise. Huge congratulations,” wrote businesswoman Pippa O’Connor, who has three boys.
“I am dying to meet him & give you a big hug! So happy for you three… what a lucky little boy he is,” said Tara Anderson of Tara Makeup.
The happy couple started dating during lockdown after Louise moved home to Ireland after living in New York City.
Speaking to the last year, the Limerick native said life could have been very different if it had not been for the covid-19 pandemic and her decision to move home.
“I had a three-year visa for America, and I was only seven months in when covid happened and there was a lot that could have been different had I stayed there. I met my boyfriend when I came home, and I started my business when I came home. I could have been living a very different life over there and I’m glad in a way that covid gave me the blessing of coming home,” she said.
