What to wear at retirement age without looking hideous is something that has likely, at one time or another, baffled your ancestors. Chances are, it’s your turn now.

The topic has never been more confusing. Gone are the days when you could simply go on a shopping spree, parade around in your finery and expect admiration. For that, you’d want to be donning at least one thing you found in a charity shop. It could be something daft, even something vaguely ridiculous. Given its origins, it’ll still have quite the cachet.
