The drink

If you’re looking for an ambassador who will exemplify the importance of fuelling your body correctly, a World Champion and Olympian is a fairly safe bet.

It’s no surprise SiSú — an Irish brand whose name comes from the Finnish concept of having strength, grit and the guts to do what needs to be done — wanted Taylor on board, but the Bray native said she was equally keen.

As an athlete, she says she couldn’t afford to take any empty calories on board, but there’s nothing quite like the hit of a fizzy drink after a hard session...

And so, Fizzique was born. High in fibre, infused with magnesium and vitamin D, with low sugar and calories, the sodas come in four flavours and are priced at €2.80 a can.
