Just some of the best outfits on the red carpet at the Oscars 2026.
Stars descended on the Dolby Theatre on Sunday night for the 98th Academy Awards, turning heads with some of the most stylish red carpet looks of the year.
All eyes were on Kerry’s Jessie Buckley, who took home an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in making history by becoming the first Irish actress to win the category.
On the red carpet, Buckley donned a striking Chanel gown, inspired by Grace Kelly's iconic 1956 dress.
The gown featured a red-and-pink-toned design with an off-the-shoulder bodice and a flowing skirt, complemented by a Chanel High Jewelry diamond necklace.

Buckley’s co-star Paul Mescal attended the carpet alongside girlfriend Gracie Abrams, daughter of film-maker JJ Abrams and CEO Katie McGrath, while author Maggie O'Farrell wore a bright fuchsia gown for the Oscars.

O’Farrell accessorised her look with black accents in the form of a belt, necklace, lace gloves, and fascinator.

Irish actress Kerry Condon stunned in an Armani Prive gown, a figure-hugging black column dress featuring an architectural necklace in a deep V design that was embellished with rows of rhinestones.

Fresh from his trip to Dublin to film his upcoming movie and attend the premiere of the film at the Dublin International Film Festival, Nick Jonas joined his wife, Priyanka Chopra, at the awards.

Chopra wore a custom white Dior gown that featured a slit and delicate feather detailing, completing the look with a sparkling diamond necklace and matching stud earrings.

star Kate Hudson shone in her glittering custom Giorgio Armani Privé jade green gown, which featured a sweetheart neckline and peplum waist.

Teyana Taylor stunned in her first red carpet dress by Chanel's creative director Matthieu Blazy, a semi-sheer bodice with a giant feather skirt and delicate spaghetti straps.

Emma Stone, who was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film kept it simple with a custom Louis Vuitton gown in a striking oyster shade.

Hollywood royalty Nicole Kidman turned heads in a feather-trimmed Chanel number, which featured contrasting sequin detail at the bust.
Demi Moore wore a feathered gown by Gucci, which she teamed with extravagant Boucheron jewels.

Australian actress Rose Byrne, who was nominated for best leading actress for her role in attended the Oscars in a strapless black fishtail gown by Dior, with floral embroidery across the bodice and hem. Byrne paired the look with slicked back hair, a statement necklace and a bright red lip.

Up-and-comer Chase Infiniti, who appeared in Paul Thomas Anderson's film chose springtime hues for her pale purple gown by French fashion house Louis Vuitton.
The form-fitting bodice was accentuated by a billowing ruffled skirt, and Infiniti kept her look relaxed with her micro braids left loose.

Also opting for colour on the carpet was Norwegian actress Renate Reinsve, nominated for the best actress award for her role in

Reinsve also wore a Louis Vuitton creation: a vivid red strapless dress with an asymmetric hem. She leaned into the minimalism of the look with simple, slicked back hair, no necklace and strappy sandals.
star Felicity Jones donned a pale lemon gown to walk the red carpet, with a tulle-caped skirt overlaid and delicate sequin detailing.

Opting for a monochromatic look was actress Alicia Silverstone, who wore a custom Christian Siriano look. The outfit included a black velvet strapless bodice, matching gloves and a sequinned white skirt.
star Charithra Chandran wore a rich emerald gown by Miss Sohee on the red carpet. The satin strapless look included a bow detailing on the rear and a voluminous skirt.

Lola Kirke, who appears in the record-breaking film which has clocked up a total of 16 nominations at this year's Oscars, wore a whimsical black midi-length dress with bow detailing, lace and sheer panels.
