Here's what caught the Weekend team's attention this week
The jumpsuit

Bringing a little sporty chic to our wardrobes, weâve fallen for the slick styling of AN-Y1âs newest collection. Inspired by Steve McQueenâs style in Le Mans (1971), the collection offers pared-back pieces for men and women, with a motorsport aesthetic. Top of our wish list is the Formula jumpsuit, a functional and feminine piece with a tie-waist, pockets and applique logo badges. The cotton and polyester blend has been sustainably produced in the UK. âŹ800.
The vase

Sarah McKennaâs latest collection, The Knitted Collection, is a new series inspired by traditional Aran knitwear, translating hand-knitted patterns into tactile ceramic forms that celebrate Irish craft, connection and home. The collection includes three vases and a tealight holder. We are lusting after the Tall Vase. At 25cm high, it is ideal for showcasing long-stemmed flowers or standing alone as a powerful sculptural piece. âŹ85.
The hot chocolate

Butlerâs has launched the ultimate hot chocolate for Easter.
Available for a limited time in cafĂ©s nationwide, the decadent Loaded Hot Chocolate comes topped with a giant marshmallow, chocolate mini eggs, chocolate flakes and a generous swirl of whipped cream, served in a perfect pink cup to welcome spring. âŹ5.
The takeaway

We all need a quick fix freezer option from time to time, so weâre here for the addition of Crosta Mollica pizzas to supermarket freezers. Already well established in the UK market, the sourdough line, 6, is crafted in Italy with slow-proved sourdough. Flavours include the Margherita and the flavour-packed Stromboli. Available in Dunnes Stores nationwide.
The stamp

Just in time for St Patrickâs Day, An Post has launched a new stamp collection to honour the Aran jumper. Designed by illustrator Sally Caulwell, the stamps pay tribute to the iconic jersey. The collection features two designs, the N stamp for postage within Ireland features the Aran jumper in mid-knit, with needles and wool. The W stamp for worldwide postage illustrates a completed garment, showcasing Irish craftsmanship to the world.
The Motherâs Day cards

Our Weekend cover illustrator this week, Rachel Corcoran, makes charming greeting cards printed in small batches locally in Dublin using sustainable and premium materials.
For Motherâs Day, she has a new collection, our favourite of which is âThe Best Irish Mammyâ card, which features things we all associate with our mothers â from 7up to the Sunday Roast, Saint Anthony and Sudocrem. To make your present extra sweet, why not gift alongside a miniature frame so she can hold on to it as an art print once Motherâs Day has come and gone? Purchase before March 11 for delivery in time for Motherâs Day. âŹ5.
The fragrance

French haute parfumerie house EX NIHILO has launched at Brown Thomas. A Latin expression meaning âcreated out of the blueâ, the Paris-founded fragrance house is a statement in modern luxury.
Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum, 195-280; available at Brown Thomas Grafton Street, Brown Thomas Dundrum and online.
