Swissline Swiss Eye Treatment

€160, The Spa & Salon at The Shelbourne, Dublin

Swissline Training Specialist Marianne Longchambon recently visited The Spa at The Shelbourne to offer the Swiss Eye Specialist, an advanced treatment developed using Swissline’s renowned cellular expertise to rejuvenate the delicate eye area. Designed to reduce puffiness, soften fine lines and brighten through expert eye massage, precision eye rollers, and targeted masks, this was THE most incredible eye treatment I’ve ever experienced. It was as though I’d had a brow lift! Transformative.

Augustinus Bader Signature Facial

€250, The Spa at Ashford Castle, Mayo

An exclusive, science-led treatment powered by Augustinus Bader’s patented TFC8 technology, this 60-minute Introductory Facial combines advanced formulations with expert massage to improve skin communication, hydration and radiance. It delivered plumper, smoother and more luminous skin which lasted for days after the treatment. A luxurious treatment to enjoy in a luxurious setting.

Ground Wellbeing Tenalach

As a huge fan of Cork’s Ground Wellbeing, both products and spa treatments, I was delighted to experience Tenalach at Castlemartyr Resort Spa this year. An exclusive treatment designed especially for the resort, it made use of Castlemartyr’s bespoke signature oil infused with lemon verbena, sweet geranium, rose, fennel, pine, and lavender. A deeply immersive and sensory ritual, the experience helps you to tune into the grounding energy of the earth and the surrounding parklands, leaving you feeling restored and at peace. I floated out afterwards.

Medik8 Crystal Retinal Age Defying Facial

This combines advanced retinal technology with expert sculpting massage techniques using Medik8’s award winning Crystal Retinal with vitamin C. Fully customisable and results-driven, the facial improves radiance, smoothness and contour definition, delivering both instant and long-term results. It left my skin glowing, sculpted and nourished.

Dermalogica LuminFusion Plump Peel

€100, salons nationwide

LuminFusion combines a targeted eye peel with a retinol and hydroxy acid facial peel to resurface, smooth and revitalise the complexion, while the new Plump Peel is nano-infused into the skin using the Pro Pen for a more intensive, yet controlled exfoliation. Powered by PHAs, AHAs, retinol and enzymes, the treatment gently renews without compromising the skin’s natural barrier, while a fizzing activator floods the skin with hydration, visibly plumping, energising and enhancing clarity. Suitable for all skin types, it delivered smoother, brighter and plumper skin in just a single session, with no discomfort or downtime.

Codage Magistrale face experience

€200, Velvære Spa at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin

It’s no secret that I love a lifting, sculpting facial, and this is the best I’ve experienced yet. A transformative 90-minute anti-ageing facial created in collaboration with Codage Paris and available at the exceptional Velvære Spa at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin.

Developed by renowned facialist Chantal Lehmann, it features more than 450 precise, sculpting hand movements shown in a clinical study to stimulate fibroblasts, boost collagen and elastin, lift the skin and dramatically reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The ritual also uses a glycolic acid peel with potent actives including peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to accelerate cell renewal and restore youthful vitality. The result is a vigorous, deeply rejuvenating facial that lifts, firms, smooths and revitalises the complexion.

Japanese Head Spa

€70, Cara Spa at Redcastle Hotel, Donegal

A standout and truly unique offering in Donegal’s Redcastle Hotel’s Cara Spa –it’s the only treatment of its kind available in a hotel in Ireland. The 60-minute ritual blends traditional Japanese scalp therapy with modern relaxation methods to calm the mind, improve circulation and scalp health, reduce tension and headaches, enhance hair strength, texture, and shine, promote hair growth, reduce hair loss, decrease sebum production, detoxify the scalp and unblock the hair follicles AND promote deep relaxation. I left feeling refreshed, revitalised, and had a great night’s sleep.

iS Clinical’s Fire and Ice resurfacing facial

€120, salons nationwide

A results-driven treatment known as the ‘Red Carpet Facial’, this legendary facial is known for its instant glow, zero downtime, and clinically proven results.

This two step treatment begins with the “Fire” masque, (as a sensitive gal I was nervous but honestly I had no need to be) a warming, intensive resurfacer enriched with glycolic acid, retinol, niacinamide, sugarcane, citrus, and apple to exfoliate and refine the skin, followed by the “Ice” masque, a cooling, hydrating blend of hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, green tea, rosemary, and peppermint to soothe, hydrate, and protect.

It smooths and brightens the complexion, minimises fine lines and blemishes, promotes cellular renewal, and is safe for pregnancy, IVF, and breastfeeding. A win-win for everyone.
