The g Hotel & Spa has launched its Summer Series.

Taking place across July and August, the events promise creativity, culture, and a touch of glamour.

The Cocktail Masterclass on Thursday, August 7, invites you to step behind the bar for mixology magic.

Kicking off with a signature cocktail on arrival, the event includes a fun, hands-on cocktail-making session led by the hotel’s food & beverage team.

Guests will learn how to craft a classic cocktail from start to finish and then, of course, enjoy their creation.

The experience wraps up with gourmet sharing platters, making it a perfect night out for couples or friends. Priced at €39 per person.

The family day out

Dream Point, the sell-out immersive family experience at Dublin’s Theatre of Light, today announces new family-friendly membership options to make return visits easier and more affordable this summer.

Prices begin with the weekday THE EXPLORER – €169, with a free cookie and ice cream per visit.

The pizza

Oak Fire Pizza, the artisan pizzeria known for its wood-fired flavours, is celebrating 10 years in business in Clonakilty.

From beginnings as The Oak Fire Italian Pizzeria in Skibbereen, before owner Andrew Loane teamed up with friend Tayfur Turkan, relocating to Clonakilty in 2015, and rebranding as Oak Fire Pizza, the company now operates nine outlets.

In celebration of 10 years in Clonakilty, they’ve dreamed up a new pizza, the Clonakilty Breakfast.

This limited edition dish includes Clonakilty black pudding, sausage, bacon, fior di latte, and a drizzle of hollandaise.

The little piece of history

The GPO Museum is calling on families to rediscover the national landmark with a summer offer: kids aged 17 and under go free with a paying adult throughout July and August.

GPO Museum brings Ireland’s turbulent history to life — from the 1800s to the Easter Rising of 1916 and right up until present-day Ireland.

Throughout the summer, it will host a variety of special themed tours focusing on Ireland’s involvement in World War One and the lives of Michael Collins and Éamon de Valera.

The haircare

LUNA Colour Protect Shampoo, €15
LUNA Colour Protect Shampoo, €15

Whether you’re a creamy blonde, or are embracing the cowboy copper trend, one of the most important weapons in your arsenal when maintaining colour post-salon is your choice of shampoo and conditioner.

LUNA by Lisa Jordan has just launched its colour protect range, from €15, designed to keep colour vibrant and prevent fading.

It also shields against the negative effects of environmental and UV damage (perfect for your holiday packing!), with a zingy mix of lemon, apple, and coconut for a fresh summer scent.

The golf gear

Channeling recent golf fever, Bushmills Irish Whiskey has teamed up with Malbon, a leading apparel brand, to release a capsule collection of themed golf gear.

The limited edition clothing and accessories pay tribute to the North Coast, home to both Royal Portrush, where The 153rd Open was just played, and to the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery.

The new collection includes a baseball hat, visor, T-shirts, vest, windbreaker, and hoodie, alongside hip flask, luggage tags, and Glencairn glassware, priced from €35-€236.
