The wardrobe hero

Eye-catching summer colours, with a touch of cosiness for cooler days of summer — the new collection from Ireland’s Eye Knitwear is a wardrobe must.

Their new colour range includes juicy tomato red; a new delicate pale blue; beautiful burnt orange; deep, delicious Claret and sweetest Rosa pink.

There are options from cardis to sweater vests — and not a trace of scratchy wool. This feels like pure luxury. An investment piece to carry you through the seasons.

The fake tan

Welcome to The Bronze Age. You can blame Barbie and Ryan Gosling (he had his own personal tanner on set) — but deep tans are back. St Tropez, the brand that put quality fake tan on the map, launches its new Ultra Dark Violet Bronzing Mousse.

It’s dark —but still natural with a violet base to neutralise yellow tones. As we shun the sun in increasing numbers, it’s another welcome addition to the booming fake tan market.

The snack

If you struggle with Doritos Chilli Heatwave, look away now. PepsiCo, the mega-brand behind Doritos, Walkers and Wotsits, has just launched a new Extra Flamin’ Hot range to spice things up this summer.

With jalapeno and smoked paprika, there’s a kick to these bad boys, but nothing that a bit of guac and sour cream won’t sort out. Available in select supermarkets nationwide.
