1. Tangle Teezer

Starting off strong (and slightly obvious) with a hairbrush. But this is not just any hairbrush.

My decision to start using a Tangle Teezer several years ago was one of the best I made because it de-tangles so effortlessly, whether your hair is wet or dry.

It glides through the hair like nothing else, making sore scalps a thing of the past.

2. Supergoop Play Everyday Lotion SPF50

This sunscreen has been on the market for several years, and despite its near cult status, it remains relatively affordable. Supergoop! Play Everyday Lotion is one of those sunscreens you use once and never want to be without. It’s what sunscreens should feel like on the skin: Exceptionally light, hydrating, and dewy without being greasy, and it sits beautifully under makeup. A win on every front.

3. Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray

What’s so essential about a face mist, you might ask? Avène Thermal Spring Water Spray keeps my sensitive skin in check. I use it three to four times a day, every single day.

I spritz it on my skin after I hop out of the shower. I use it before serums and before moisturizer. I even have a miniature version in my handbag to refresh my skin throughout the day. Try it for yourself, and you’ll never look back.

4. Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair

Arguably one of the best texture sprays on the market, and I’ve used them all (probably).

There are many texture sprays that I rate and purchase regularly, but none more so than Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair. This is a texture spray that does it all and then some. Thanks to its super-fine mist-like formula, it adds movement, lift and impressive. volume in relatively undetectable fashion. No crunchiness, no weight on the hair, no trace whatsoever (and it smells like sweets).

5. Beauty Pie Super Luminous Under Eye Genius

Before I explain why this product is a must-have, I must add a caveat — Beauty Pie does not ship to Ireland. The only way to get your hands on their products is via Amazon or a postbox service like Address Pal.

Saying that, it’s worth the effort, if only to get your hands on Super Luminous Under Eye Genius. It is one of the best correctors I have ever used. Use it under concealer, over concealer or alone and be amazed.

6. Sculpted by Aimee HydraLip

A lipstick that also manages to be a lip balm that works for day, night, and any time. Sculpted by Aimee HydraLip (specifically in the shade Rose) is one of my most used products, and with good reason.

It’s pigmented, packed with nourishing and hydrating good-for-your-skin ingredients, and can be applied with your eyes closed. What’s not to love?

7. L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

I started using this mascara seven years ago when it first hit the shelves. Although I occasionally deviate to try new and noteworthy mascaras, I always return to L’Oreal Lash Paradise (and I recommend it to everyone).

This is a mascara that adds enormous fluttery volume every single time. It lifts and separates and manages to grab every lash without clumping or flaking.

8. Sculpted by Aimee Beauty Balm

Another product from Sculpted by Aimee that’s always in my handbag is Beauty Balm, but possibly not for the reason you might think.

Yes, it’s an excellent lip balm and provides instant relief. It truly excels, however, as a cuticle salve.

I pull it out of my bag at least once a day and rub a tiny amount onto my cuticles to keep dry, hard skin at bay. 10/10.
