Street trend: Sarah Waldron
I’m wearing a COS jacket (a sample that didn’t make it into production), a COS top (gift), Brooks Brothers shirt (borrowed from mother), ASOS necklace (€30), Topshop ripped jeans (€62) and Kurt Geiger boots (€250).
Extreme low-maintenance.
Five minutes.
Function — I write about fashion for a living, so, obviously, it is important, but function trumps all. I don’t like anything to be too binding or restricting, and overly trendy stuff dates easily.
My friends, Dominique and Sarah. One takes a lot of risks, fashion-wise, and she always looks great; the other almost only wears black and always looks sleek and sophisticated. Both different, both very stylish.
Irish girls tend to look quite undone, which I love. There’s a difference between being artfully dishevelled and being actually dishevelled, and Irish girls have an innate sense of balance between the two.
Online, almost exclusively. My budget is fairly limited, so I save my money for sample sales, if I want to buy something special.
Pause Play Vintage Boutique, in Tralee, was an undiscovered gem, but has sadly closed. I live in hope that it’ll resurface again soon, though!
A clean white shirt is a good counterpoint to ripped jeans and well-worn boots.
The jacket is attention-catching, but also goes with everything.
