What are you wearing?

I’m wearing a Zara dress (€50), loafers from The Show Suite (around €135), a Tag Heur watch (gift), Bally bag (around £600), Debenhams tights (€8) and RayBan glasses (around €150).

Describe your style in three words:

Preppy, feminine, simple.

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?

As I work in a sportswear company, I spend a lot of time in a kit we design ourselves.

When I am going to a meeting though, I wear dresses. I need my clothes to work as hard as I do and to be able to look good with minimal fuss.

Fashion or function - which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why?

The reason behind starting my own sportswear brand was just that - if my kit looked good but didn’t perform and was low quality; it was of little use to me.

My clothes need to facilitate my life and my hobbies, they need to look good and as I’m working with a small start up CEO budget. They need to be high quality and last.

What is your biggest source of style inspiration?

Teenagers. I love seeing younger people playing and experimenting with fashion. I love the fearlessness that first discovering fashion brings. I am also a big fan of Blair Eadie’s blog http://atlantic-pacific.blogspot.ie/ . The way she puts outfits together just makes me want to stand up and clap.

What do you think of Irish street style?

I think Irish men and women bravely approach their daily outfit choices and take risks that draw a little bit of attention. I love men’s fashion and how Irish men are taking such an interest in it.

Where do you like to shop?

I like The Kooples, NW3, Whistles, Reiss, Primark, Zara, Warehouse, J. Crew, Weekend by Max Mara, The White Company and Dickens and Jones.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem?

I would have to say our sportswear brand Queen B Athletics. Our focus is on quality, performance and style and we wholeheartedly adore our Irish designed pieces.

We are entering into our second year trading and have the best customers who truly love their kit.

Why does your style/outfit work?

I think my outfit works because it is comfortable and functional. The hemline of my dress is a bit higher than I would usually go for but the 60s are in and I do love a good trend.

A few of the more expensive pieces have been in my wardrobe for some time now and have really gone the distance. I am a firm believer in buying high quality and if this means a higher price tag.
