Street trend: Aoife Walsh

Name: Aoife Walsh

Street trend: Aoife Walsh

What are you wearing?

I’m wearing a Zara top (€19.95), jeans (€49.95) and jumper (€29.95), Carvela runners (€180) from Brown Thomas, a Marc Coblen watch (€300), Betty and Biddy necklace (€29) and Stella McCartney bag (€1,145).

Describe your style in three words?

Girlie, casual, evolving.

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?

For a normal day about 15 minutes, but on other days when I have to work and look my best, I can take up to an hour.

Fashion or function — which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why?

Both. Today’s outfit is a typical day-to-day outfit for me to wear going to meetings and shoots. I love to play with style and fashion on nights out, but I’m a jeans girl on normal days.

What’s your biggest source of style inspiration?

I love Laura Mullet as a fashion stylist and think she has such a great sense of style and I’m also a big lover of U magazine and Stellar for the latest trends.

What do you think of Irish street style?

I live in Dublin and think Irish women have a fantastic sense of style and are not afraid to break boundaries and be brave on the fashion choices.

Where do you like to shop?

Zara and Topshop.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem?

There are so many amazing boutiques in Clonmel but I also love Simply Chic Boutique in Cashel.

Why does your style/outfit work?

I love this outfit because it’s very true to my style. I’m comfortable and casual but yet I’m playing around with pastel colours and bringing some glam with wedge runners and accessories.
