Street trend: Kate Noonan
I’m wearing a dress from Miss Daisy Blue (€120), shoes (€28) and tights (€3) from Penneys, an Alexander McQueen bag from Brown Thomas (€330) and glasses from Zara (€23).
Still being discovered.
It can take me nearly an hour. My clothing is usually the easiest part as I pick it out the night before. What takes the longest is my hair and make-up. In my line of work grooming is important. No one trusts a make-up artist with an untidy face and messy hair.
I would have a heavy emphasis on both, with comfort being a major factor. It’s tricky to manoeuvre heavy kit bags, walk long distances or run on set if you’re not in appropriate clothing. Having said that, I like to accessorise and add a touch of glamour with statement jewellery or a bold print.
I like to follow local Irish blogs like Irish Fashaholic and Life’s Lust Haves. You could also find me scrolling through Pinterest for hours. My biggest source of inspiration would probably come from my job. Although not a massive follower of what’s in season exactly, I do love watching how the professionals put things together.
I love exploring vintage shops like Miss Daisy Blue. I also go to Verso in Douglas Shopping Centre for a bit of glam or River Island and Zara for work clothes and separates.
There is some incredible design talent coming out of Ireland lately from quirky designers like Samantha Kennedy to beautiful leather work from Caroline Mathews; to national names like Joanne Hynes and Lennon Courtney.
I love the glamour and sophistication of this outfit yet it’s so practical and comfortable. Above all I love how this outfit makes me feel, it’s my ‘go to’ outfit.
