Travel kits are the fast-track way to stay restrained but still maintain your regime in sunnier climes.
Kathy Phillips, creative director of This Works, summarises the essence of travel beauty: “Minis should be an invaluable group of portable, unbreakable, un-spillable, multi-tasking essentials that fit in your handbag and sail through security.”

Jumbo jets may get you to your dream destination, but the journey can be hellish for our skin. Jill Zander, founder of the Jill Zander Skin Rejuvenation Clinic has these top tips for beautifying on the plane:
* The day before your holiday, indulge in a body scrub and self-tan application.
* If you have time pre-flight, book in for a professional deeply moisturising facial to combat the dehydration.
* Aim to drink plenty of water before flying to hydrate from within.
* On the day of the flight, apply a moisturising mask and eye mask.
* Products containing antioxidants are great to fight free radicals and protect you from UVC — this is a dangerous ray filtered out by the ozone, and if you’re flying you need protection.
* Try applying a moisturising serum containing hyaluronic acid — a fabulous moisture binder.
* Use a good body cream, paying attention to any dry patches and the decolletage.
* During the flight, avoid alcohol and drink plenty of water to keep the skin well hydrated.
