Cameron Diaz and husband Benji Madden have announced the arrival of their child child – a son named Nautas.

The Good Charlotte rocker, 47, shared the news on Instagram with a picture of a pirate ship with a N on the sail.

He wrote: “Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so blessed to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!

“We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!

“Having a blast. Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family.”

Diaz, 53, best known for blockbusters including There’s Something About Mary, Charlie’s Angels and The Mask, left a series of red heart emojis in the comments section of the post.

Madden and Diaz, who married in 2015, are already parents to daughter Raddix Wildflower Madden, six, and son Cardinal Madden, two.

They have reportedly used surrogates for their pregnancies.

Diaz has previously spoken about welcoming children in the “second half” of her life.

Speaking to model Naomi Campbell on her YouTube series No Filter in 2020, she said: “A lot of people do it the other way around.

“They get married, have a family in their youth.

“Having a family when you’re young…it’s like anything when you’re young: You do it.

“But when you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice.

“You really have to work hard for it.

“The only pressure for me is like I have to live to be, like 107, you know? So no pressure!”

Diaz has been largely out of the limelight for the last decade but returned to Hollywood in 2025’s action comedy Back in Action.

Earlier this year she appeared in comedy Outcome, opposite Keanu Reeves, directed by Jonah Hill.
