Report: Tom Cruise's mother has passed away at 80

Mary Lee South, mother of actor Tom Cruise, has passed away at the age of 80, according to people.com.

According to reports, South died peacefully in her sleep last week, and was given a memorial service at her local Church of Scientology.

She is survived by her son Tom, and daughters Lee Ann DeVette, Cass Mapother, and Marian Henry.
