Croke Park gates have opened early for Bruce Springsteen fans

The gates have just opened at Croke Park for the first of Bruce Springsteen's gigs this weekend.
80,000 people are expected to have made their way to Dublin for the sold out gig with traffic in the city set to be very heavy this evening.
The Boss is in town with 80,000 people gathering to see him perform this evening.

Dozens of people had gathered outside Springsteen's hotel earlier to try to get a glimpse of him before the gigs.

As well as the Springsteen gig in Croke Park, Ireland are playing the Netherlands in a friendly in the Aviva at 7.45pm and there is an event at the Bord Gais Energy theatre at 7.30pm.
