The winner of The Voice of Ireland is…

Weeks of blind auditions, battles and live shows culminated tonight when the winner of the Voice of Ireland was finally crowned tonight.

Each contestant performed two songs but there could only be one winner and the voting public catapulted Michael Lawson to the top.

Kelesa Mulcahy finished in second place, with Nigel Connell and Laura O’Connor finishing in third and fourth respectively.

Michael’s single ‘7 Years’ is available to download now on iTunes.

Michael said that the song, originally performed by Lukas Graham, was the turning point for him in the competition.
