Simply Red to play Live at the Marquee this summer

Missed Simply Red in Dublin’s 3Arena earlier this month?

Well, good news! The English band have just announced they will play a date at Cork’s Live at the Marquee on Saturday June 11, 2016.

Mick Hucknall and Co. are currently embarking on their 30th Anniversary tour, despite announcing their retirement in 2010.

And so far, the fans are loving it.

The red-haired crooner will be joined by his long serving band mates Ian Kirkham (sax), Steve Lewinson (bass), Kenji Suzuki (guitar), Kevin Robinson (trumpet and flute) and Dave Clayton (keyboards) plus new drummer Roman Roth, who bang out hits such as ‘Stars’, ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’ and ‘Fairground’.

Tickets for the summer gig will go on sale Friday December 18 at 9.00am from all usual Ticketmaster outlets.
