Bono and friends launch 'experiences' campaign to fund Aids research

Bono is launching a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” campaign which could see winners spend time with the U2 singer, George Clooney or Kim Kardashian.

Entrants to the competition have to donate at least $10 (€9.44) to his RED organisation, which raises money to fight Aids.

Among the all-star prizes on offer include a bike ride with Bono, a contour makeover with Kim Kardashian and a meeting with George Clooney.

A visit to the set of fantasy hit Game of Thrones and a trip down the red carpet with Meryl Streep are among the other items up for grabs.

The campaign kicks off on Tuesday to coincide with World Aids Day. Entries on Omaze.com/RED close on January 21.

Jimmy Kimmel is dedicating his Tuesday late-night show to the campaign by hosting the (SHOPATHON), a tongue-in-check take on home shopping.
