Running late for the bus, being caught in the rain or running out of your favourite product are all valid excuses for an epic makeup fail - being on live TV surrounded by professional makeup artists, unfortunately, isn’t.

The former Girls Aloud singer made an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine this morning to promote her new single alongside Shane Filan, but tragically made the rookie mistake of not matching the makeup on her by face with her neck.

Let’s just say she was ‘simpsonized’.
