Morrissey has joined forces with PETA to try to close a beagle-breeding facility

The outspoken rocker has written a letter to UK Home Secretary Theresa May to stop the opening of a controversial proposed facility in Grimston, East Yorkshire, which will breed the dogs for laboratory experiments.

He wrote: "I was shocked to hear from my friends at PETA about plans for a new facility in nearby Grimston that would breed beagles to be used and killed in cruel experiments.
