David Walliams and Lara Stone granted 'quickie' divorce

Actor David Walliams has divorced his wife Lara Stone.

The 44-year-old, who is best known for his comedy partnership with Matt Lucas, was granted a decree nisi at a brief hearing at the Central Family Court in London before District Judge Heather MacGregor.

The order in the undefended petition for divorce was granted on the grounds of the “unreasonable behaviour” of 31-year-old Stone, the mother of the couple’s two-year-old son Alfred.

Court papers made public said that the behaviour of model Stone, who married Walliams in 2010, was “continuing”.

Walliams, who brought the proceedings under his real name of Williams, and Stone began a trial separation in March.
