Bono confirms U2 set for tour dates in Ireland
Bono has confirmed that U2 will be playing in Ireland in November.
The venue and exact dates are not yet known but an announcement is believed to be imminent.
The band had been looking for a venue big enough to cater for the stage configuration used during the 'Innocent and Experience' shows.
However, it has now been decided to reformat the show so it can be brought to Ireland.
The Irish Times reports Bono confirmed it after their show in Turin last night.
He said they have found a way to fit all the components of their tour, including the large video screens, into a venue in Ireland for a number of dates at the start of November.
