Corona's Danny O'Reilly forced to go solo set at V Festival

Corona’s frontman Danny O’Reilly was forced to play a solo set at V Festival last weekend, as they arrived late to their gig.

The band were booked to play in Belfast the night before, and due to a delayed ferry they only made it to the famous festival with ten minutes to spare.

“We only just made it! I had to go up and do a few acoustic songs. We didn’t have anytime to set up any of the gear,” he told 2fm's Eoghan Mc Dermott yesterday.

“I never do solo stuff but it went really well. It was so nice, everyone was sitting down on the grass and it sort of suited it better for a morning gig”.

Always the professional.
