One Direction to break up for solo projects

A newspaper has claimed that boyband One Direction are set to break up for a year in March to focus on solo projects.

A source close to the group has apparently told The Sun it's not a split - and that they " fully intend to get back together at some time in the future".

It has been reported that performances planned for the rest of the year are expected to go ahead, and they will regroup after Christmas to finish contractual commitments in February.
