Jen and Ben separated six months ago - Twitter reacts

Some of you may have just heard the news that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are getting a divorce.

The popular couple confirmed the rumour to E! news yesterday, the day that would have marked their 10 year wedding anniversary.

Not only that, it was reported today that they separated six months ago.

"Ben and Jennifer have been separated for more than six months. They have been seeing counselors for years. The situation is that people change and they grow apart," a source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column.

"They plan to share custody and co-parent their kids (Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three)."

It is thought that Ben, 42, has been staying in hotels in recent months and he is planning to live on the property of their Brentwood marital home to stay close to the kids, he will not share the main house with the 43-year-old actress.

"There is a lot of love there but, they are doing what is best for everybody," the source added.

We know, we know, we are still reeling over Brad and Jen.
