British website shamelessly labels Hozier as a Brit
The UK edition of The Huffington Post has claimed Bray-native Hozier as British, as part of its #BritsBlitz series.
“So who are the stars flying the flag for Britain?” the article reads, before including Hozier in the Crowd Pleasers section.

The Irishman, yes Irishman, skyrocketed to fame after his self-titled debut album hit number one on the Billboard charts in record time.
Since then, he's gained fans such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
It’s really only the beginning for this Irishman, wait … did we mention he’s Irish?
Although the writer of the piece does acknowledge that Hozier does hail from our shores, she goes on to say "[we are]happy to take him to our British bosom".
And as you can imagine, people aren't’ happy.
@RachelMcGrath You can't have Hozier. He's ours. Please release from British bosom immediately. Kind Regards, Ireland.
