Going to The Script this weekend? Here's what you need to know

If you’re one of the lucky ones that has secured tickets for The Script’s Croke Park gig this weekend, unpack your selfie stick now, as it is amongst the items banned at the gig.

Concert promoters MCD have released a list of highly specific rules, regulations and banned items ahead of the highly-anticipated gig.

This includes inflatable balls, umbrellas and banners larger than A4.

Under 14s are not allowed on the pitch at the venue, even if accompanied, and all under 16s attending must be accompanied at all times.

Doors open in Croke Park at 5.30pm, with the first of the support acts, The Wailers, taking to the stage an hour later at 6.30pm.

Pharrell Williams is scheduled to perform at 7.00pm

No queueing is permitted before the gates open, so eager fans who turn up hours before will be asked to leave the area.

Although the gig sold out in record time, MCD have said that there are still a limited number of tickets available on the Ticketmaster website.
