WATCH: That moment when you're singing an Ed Sheeran song and he joins in

Ed Sheeran was taking a stroll through the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada over the weekend, when he overheard 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau singing his song 'Thinking Out Loud'.

And of course Ed Sheeran, being Ed Sheeran, decided to “roll up” on stage and join her in an impromptu duet.

The teenager was singing with her music school as part of a fundrasier for the Edmonton Humane Society, and although she appeared in complete shock she continued singing and didn't miss a beat.

“I was like, should I stop? I didn’t want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him. This is, like, the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I was so happy that he did that, it was incredible,” she said talking to the Edmonton Journal.

Not only that, Bourbeau received another shock later Sunday afternoon when Sheeran’s manager texted her, offering two tickets to the Grammy-nominated singer’s Sunday night concert at Rexall Place.
