WATCH: Last night's Red Rock finale has shocked the nation
The finale of TV3’s Red Rock aired on our screens last night, and it didn’t disappoint.
The soap, which has slowly gathered an array of loyal fans, centres on two feuding families in the fictional Dublin suburb of Red Rock - the Kielys and the Hennesseys.
Over the past few weeks the Irish station have been heavily teasing the season finale, they even released this hillarious promo video featuring Irish TV personalities having a sneak peek at the final scene.
And judging by fan's reaction on Twitter last night, it was as shocking as Ireland AM's Mark Cagney made it out to be.

If you didn’t tune in, and have it recorded,
The season concluded with much loved Garda, Adrijan Kosos (Boyko Krastanov) being struck by a car as he was interrogating a suspect on the street.
Don’t worry guys, TV3 promises that when the second season returns on Wednesday September 2, there will be "even more twists and turns that the first.”
